Abstract:
The Sentinel-2 LAI Validation Dataset of Maize in Yucheng, Shandong of China was developed based on the 77 points (field survey, September 18-21, 2020) to points (Sentinel-2 20200901, 20200926, LAI) validation between the LAISentinal (10m) and LAIfield in Yucheng, Shandong Province of China. The correlation analysis with five models showed that Coefficient of Determination (R²) was 0.7517, suggesting 75.17% of the LAI variation in the field can be determined by LAISentinal in this region. The dataset includes: (1) LAI point data, including data in situ, LAI based on Sentinel-2, their difference, and the proportion of difference to the data in situ; (2) LAI based on Sentinel-2 data with 10 m resolution. The dataset is archived in .shp, .kmz, .tif and .xlsx data formats, and consists of 18 data files with data size of 182 MB (compressed into three files with 130 MB).
