Abstract:
Paramushir Island is the second largest one and located northeastern of Kuril Islands. Its geolocation is from 49°59′56″N to 50°46′7″N, 155°11′55″E to 156°10′13″E. The Paramushir Island is 102 km long from the northeast to the southwest and its area is 2037.28 km², only smaller than Iturup Island (3163.76 km²). Its coastline is 321.24 km long. The dataset is developed based on the google earth images and references maps. It is archived in the .kmz and .shp data formats with data size of 1.42 MB in 15 data files (compressed to 543 KB in 2 .rar files).
