Abstract:
The Andrott Island, also called Andrott Atoll, is located at Laccadive Sea. It belongs to the Lakshadweep District of Union Territory of Lakshadweep of India, and it is located in northeast of the Laccadive Islands. Its geo-location is 10°48′18″N-10°49′16″N, 73°39′36″E-73°42′9″E. The Andrott Island is 4.6 km long from east to west and 1.4 km wide from south to north. It is separated from Cherlyam Island 72 km at its south, from Amini Island 107 km at its northwest, and from the west coastline of Indian continent 210 km at its east. The area of the Andrott Island is 4.98 km², and the total coastline is 12.03 km. The dataset was developed based on the Google Earth and related maps and references. The dataset is consisted of 15 data files and archived in the .kmz and shp data formats with the data size of 97.6 KB (Compressed to 41.7 KB in two files).
