Abstract：

Jason Islands located at the northwest of Falkland Islands (or Islas Malvinas) in the South Atlantic Ocean. Its geo-location is from 50°59'45"S to 51°16'59"S, 61°27'30"W - 60°44'04"W. Jason Islands are consisted of 32 islands (the smallest island is 726m²), including Grand Jason, Steeple Jason, South Jason, Flat Jason, Elephant Jason and North Fur Island. The Grand Jason is the biggest one in the Jason islands with an area of 15.33 km², which is 39.66% of the total area. The second largest island is Steeple Jason with an area of 9.38 km², which is 24.25% of the total. The total area of Jason Islands is 38.66 km², and the coastline is 142.24 km long. Among the 32 islands, Steeple Jason Island, Grand Jason Island and Clarke's Islet, are private nature reserves owned by the Wildlife Conservation Society of New York City, and the others in the group are National Nature Reserves owned by the Falkland Islands Government. The dataset is developed based on the Google Earth images 2015 and the referenced maps. The dataset is consisted of 15 data files, archived in both .kmz and .shp data formats with the data size of 1.85 MB (compressed to two files with data size of 818 KB).
