Abstract:
To realize ecological restoration is necessary to find the key factors responsible for soil erosion risk and determine their impacts on the ecosystem service. A case study in the Three Gorges Reservoir round area on the soil erosions from 1982 to 2015 was investigated, which was based on the climate data (precipitation), soil texture and organic matter, elevation, land cover and vegetation cover, the authors obtained the Tspatial-temporal changes of soil erosion risk data and the Universal Soil Loss Equation and the Mann-Kendall mutation test and Stepwise Regression methodology. The dataset conducted from the study includes: (1) The boundary data of Three Gorges Reservoir Area; (2) Annual soil erosion (unit: ton ha−1); (3) Annual average of soil erosion (unit: ton ha−1); (4) Trend (Slope) of soil erosion; (5) Significant differences in the trends for the annual soil erosion; (6) Detection of abrupt changes in annual soil erosion; (7) Analysis of the driving forces of soil erosion. The dataset is archived in 82 data files in the .shp, .xlsx, and .img formats with the data size of 1.53 GB (compressed to 194 MB in one .rar file).
