Abstract：

Pulau Bangka is located in the western of the Greater Sunda Islands in southeast Asia, facing the Java Sea to the south. It is separated 14 km from Sumatra by Bangka strait at its west and 85 km from the Belitung Island by the Gaspar strait at its east. The geo-location of the Pulau Bangka is between 1°30′5″S and 3°7′0″S, 105°6′31″E and 106°50′56″E. The Pulau Bangka belongs to the Bangka-Belitung province of the Republic of Indonesia. The area of Pulau Bangka is 11,528.23 km² and the coastline is 1,164.91 km. The dataset was developed based on the Global Multiple Scale Shorelines Dataset Based on Google Earth Images (2015), and maps and references related to Pulau Bangka. The dataset is consisted of 21 data files and archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, with the data size of 1.02 MB (Compressed to 716 KB in three data files).Browse
