Abstract：

Kongque River Oasis is located in Korla city, Tiemenguan city, Yuli county and Yanqi county of Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China. The geo-location of the Kongque River Oasis is between 41°11’26"N and 41°58'41"N, 85°20'42"E and 86°46'15"E. The Kongque River Oasis consists of 4 oases with a total area of 4019.30 km² based on the Albers projection, total perimeter of 1073.66 km based on the Lambert projection. In Kongque River Oasis, the largest oasis is the main Kongque River Oasis with an area of 4017.44 km² (Albers projection) and a perimeter of 1064.19 km (Lambert projection). The area proportion of the Kongque river oasis in each county and city is 59.51% (Korla City), 13.69% (Tiemenguan city), 26.76% (Yuli County) and 0.04% (Yanqi county), respectively. The dataset was developed based on Google earth images in 2019. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 15 data files with 16.60 MB (compressed into one single file with 10.70 MB).
