The elevation classification dataset of Bosten Lake Basin was developed based on the ASTER GDEM 30 m data. The elevation was divided into 9 types. Among them, the elevation below 1000 m was divided into one type; those regions above 1000 m were divided into eight types for every 500 m. The dataset is archived in .tif data format, and consists of 7 data files with data size of 2.88 MB (compressed to one single data file with 1.40 MB).
