Abstract：
Ireland Island is located in the northwest of Europe and northeastern of the Atlantic Ocean. It is separated only 20.1 km from the Great Britain Island by the North Channel in its northeast, by the Irish Sea in its east, and by the Saint George’s Channel in its southeast. Most of the Ireland Island belongs to the Republic of Ireland, with the capital Dublin located on the eastern coast of the island. The northeastern part of the Ireland Island belongs to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, whose capital is Belfast. The geo-location of the Ireland Island is between 51°26′51″N and 55°23′2″N, 10°28′48″W and 5°25′56″W. It extends from Northeast to Southwest, with the length of about 485 km and the width of 120-280 km. It is the third largest island in Europe, with an area of 83,473.38 km² under the Albers projection, less than the Great Britain (219,126.19 km²) and the Iceland (102,474.84 km²). The coastline is 7,261.43 km under the Lambert projection. The International Dublin Airport is located adjacent to the Dublin and is operated by the government of Ireland. The International Belfast Airport is located adjacent to Belfast, and is operated by the government of Northern Ireland. The dataset was developed based on the Google Earth and related maps and references. The dataset is consisted of 35 data files and archived in the .kmz and .shp data formats with the data size of 20.5 MB (Compressed to 14.7 MB in four files).
