Abstract:
Mukojima archipelago is located in the northernmost of Ogasawara Islands. It is governed by the Tokyo administrative jurisdiction (Tokyo Metropolitan Department), Japan. The geolocation of Mukojima archipelago is from 142°5'36"E to 142°13'11"E and latitude from 27°29'3"N to 27°43'31"N. Mukojima archipelago is consisted of Mukojima, Torishima, Yomejima, Nakoudojima, Northern Island, Maejima, and a series of small islands. Mukojima, Yomejima, Nakoudojima, and Northern Island were listed in the UNESCO world natural heritage sites. The total area of the islands in the Mukojima archipelago is 5.20 km², and coastline is 60.75 km long. The dataset is developed based on Google Earth imagery integrated with thematic maps. The dataset is archived in both .kmz and .shp formats with compressed data size of 232KB.
