Abstract：
The earthquake database from 1900-2013 records 1152 earthquakes on China and the surround area with magnitude greater than or equal to 4.0. Integrating the data records from the 47 earthquakes with magnitude greater than or equal to 7.0 and the focal mechanisms and deformation model, the century earthquake records on China and the surround area was developed. The dataset is consisted of five parts, they are: (1) earthquake records of the parameters with magnitude greater than or equal to 4.0 in China and the surround area from 1900-2013; (2) simulation data of strain rate based on earthquakes, GNSS and active faults magazines in China and the surround area;(3-1) residual strain rate between strain rate calculated and observed in China and the surround area; (3-2) residual moment rate in China and the surround area; (4) segmentations of 47 major earthquakes according surface ruptures and displacements; (5) residual strain rates from strain rates calculated and observed (after major earthquake being segmented). The analysis paper was published in the Journal of Progress in Geophysics, No. 6, Vol. 30, 2015. The dataset is archived in both .dat, .shp and .kmz data formats with the compressed data size of 1.10MB.
