Abstract:
The Terrestrial Water Storage Anomalies (TWSA) dataset of Haihe River Basin driven by human and climate change (2003-2013) was developed based on data integration among the satellite gravimetric data (Gravity Recovery), the Climate Experiment (GRACE), the daily precipitation data (Meteorological Data Service Center - CMA), the temperature and precipitation data (Medium-Range Weather Forecast - ECMWF) re-analysis (ERA-Interim), multi-source weighted-ensemble precipitation (MSWEP), annual precipitation (Haihe River Water Resources Bulletin - HRWRB) and datasets of GLDAS with the CPC land surface models. The dataset is consisted of the following data from 2003 to 2013: (1) Terrestrial water storage anomalies (TWSA) data from GRACE and from the ensemble mean of the reconstructed TWSA with the trend and seasonal signal removed; (2) climate-driven and human-induced TWSA trend; (3) inter-annual variations of GRACE-derived, climate-driven, and human-induced TWSA, and their corresponding terrestrial water fluxes (TWF); (4) annual precipitation from HRWRB, CMA, ECMWF ERA-Interim and MSWEP; (5) reconstructed TWSA calculated from methods of Humphrey and Gudmundsson (2019); Humphrey et al. (2017) and Zhong et al. (2018); (6) reconstructed TWSA calculated from methods based on Humphrey and Gudmundsson (2019); Humphrey et al. (2017) and Zhong et al. (2018) for the reconstruction period from 1985-2013; (7) annual water consumption and annual precipitation anomalies in the Haihe River Basin; (8) the linear regression between terrestrial water fluxes (TWF) and annual precipitation; (9) climate-driven TWSA estimates from land surface models (CPC and Noah) and human-induced TWSA estimates from subtracting GRACE TWSA by climate-driven TWSA; (10) annual precipitation trends and climate-driven trend estimates; (11) TWSA estimates from different GRACE Mascon solutions. The dataset was archived in .xlsx format with data size of 109 KB in one data file. The temporal data frequency of TWSA and reconstructed TWSA are monthly, while the precipitation, water consumption and precipitation anomalies are annual based.
