Abstract：
Onekotan Island lies between Paramushir Island and Kharimkotan Island, southeast of Makanrushi Island in the Kuril Islands. Its geolocation is from 49°15′23″N to 49°38′03″N, 154°36′38″E to 154°55′04″E. It is 43 km long from the northeast to the southwest, narrow in the north and wide in the south. The area of Onekotan Island is 429.40 km² with the coastline of 133.34 km long. The dataset is developed based on the google earth images and references maps. It is archived in the .kmz and .shp data formats with data size of 501 KB in 15 data files (compressed to 192 KB in 2 files).
