Abstract：

By the end of 2020，the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) includes 8 member states, 4 observer states, and 6 dialogue partner states. Among them, the member states are China, Russia, India, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. The observer states are Mongolia, Afghanistan, Belarus and Iran. The dialogue partners include Cambodia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan. The total area of SCO countries is 39,239,059.11 km² based on Albert projection. located in the Asia-Europe continent, within geo-location among 19°38′16″E to 168°59′52″W and 5°55′8″N to 81°51′33″N, The perimeter of the boundary calculated by Lambert projection is 326,232.40 km. The dataset include the boundary data of SCO and the member states of SCO. The dataset was developed based on GADM global administrative division database and Global multi-scale shorelines dataset based on Google Earth images (2015), referenced with relevant maps. The dataset is archived in .shp and .kmz data formats, consisting of 34 data files with data size of 1.21 GB (compressed into 4 files, 862 MB). The dataset is for research references only; not for territorial disputes.
