Abstract：
The Social Space Quality refers to the comprehensive characteristics of the stability, education level, occupational hierarchy, income level of the population living in places or areas or geographical unions. The social space quality dataset of Guangzhou city of China (2010) covers 118 sub-districts (towns) in Guangzhou city. The dataset includes the total score of social space quality, population stability score, education level score, occupational hierarchy score, income level score, proportion of foreign population, proportion of tenants, proportion of population with various educational background, proportion of population with various occupations and proportion of households with various rent levels in November 2010. The dataset is archived in .xls and .shp data formats, and consists of 7 data files with a data size of 1.16 MB (compressed into one single file with 535 KB). The analysis and research paper based on this data set was published in Tropical Geography, Vol. 37, No. 1, 2017.
