Abstract：
Yunlong Reservoir is the water source project of the Zhangjiu River diversion and water supply project in Kunming. It began to have water in 2007. The reservoir is located in the upper reaches of the Zhangjiu River, the second branch of Jinsha River. Yunlong Reservoir Basin is the catchment area of Yunlong Reservoir, located in Luquan Yi and Miao Autonomous County, Kunming and Wuding County, Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province of China. The geo-location of the Yunlong Reservoir Basin is between 25°43′34″N and 26°07′49″N, 102°16′06″E and 102°35′13″E. The total area of Yunlong Reservoir Basin is 746.09 km², the lake shoreline is 165.74 km long. The highest altitude is 3155 m and the lowest altitude is 2026 m. The basin primarily belongs to a karst-tectonic origin canyon landform, with valleys formed by mountainous tectonic erosion, and its landscape is fragmented. The water supply of Yunlong Reservoir accounts for 70% of the total water supply in Kunming, which guarantees the drinking water supply in Kunming and its surrounding areas. This dataset was developed based on ASTER GDEM data and Google Earth images. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats and consists of 14 data files with data size 434 KB (compressed to 181 KB in two files).
