Abstract：
The Ihawandhippolhu Atoll is located from 6。56＇40〃N to 7。6＇23〃N, 72。48＇32〃E to 73。0＇12〃E, 460km to Indian and 760km to Siri Lanka. It is the most northern part of the country. The Ihawandhippolhu Atoll is consisted of 23 islands, including the islands: Galladhoo, Ihavandhoo, Huvahandhoo, Hoarafushi, Kudafinolhu, Ybeach House Iruveli, Maafinolhu, Medhafushi, Hathifushi, Mulhadoo, Matheerah, Gaamathikulhudhoo, Berimmadhoo, Madulu, Innafinolhu, Uligamu, Vagaaru, Thuraakunu. The total area of the island is 5.87km2, the biggest one is the Mulhadoo island, its area is 1.18km2. The dataset is developed based on the google earth images and references maps. It is archived in the .kmz and .shp formats with the compressed data size of 132KB.
