Abstract：
The Kavaratti Island, also called Kavaratti Atoll, is located at Laccadive Sea. It belongs to the Lakshadweep District of Union Territory of Lakshadweep of India, and it is located in center of the Laccadive Islands. Its geo-location is 10°32′26″N-10°34′38″N, 72°36′55″E-72°38′59″E. The Kavaratti town is capital of Union Territory of Lakshadweep of India. The Kavaratti Island is located in southeastern part of the Atoll, and northwestern part of the Atoll is reef. The Kavaratti Island is separated from Pitti Island 24.6 km at its northwest, and from Valiyakara Island 54 km at its southwest. The area of the Kavaratti Island is 3.78 km², and the total coastline is 13.51 km. The dataset was developed based on the Google Earth and related maps and references. The dataset is consisted of 15 data files and archived in the .kmz and .shp data formats with the data size of 37.8 KB (Compressed to 16.8 KB in two files).
