Abstract：
Shiyang River Oasis is located in Wuwei, Jinchang and Zhangye in Gansu province, and Alxa League in Inner Mongolia, China. The geolocation of the Shiyang River Oasis is between 37°24'23"N and 39°24'23"N, 101°18'45"E and 103°48'43"E. The Shiyang River Oasis consists of 78 oases with a total area of 9,593.75 km² (Albers). The largest oasis covers an area of 6,016.34 km². The main rivers that nourish the oases are Shiyang River, Xida River and Dongda River, and their main stream lengths are 232.59 km, 139.72 km and 129.42 km respectively. The geolocation of the mountainous part of the Shiyang River catchment is between 37°09′22″N and 38°14′40″N, 101°07′20″E and 103°28′06″E. The area of the mountainous part is 11,074.73 km². The elevation of this part was divided into 9 types. The dataset is consisted of (1) boundary data of the Oasis; (2) river system and lakes; (3) boundary data of the mountainous part of the catchment; (4) mountainous elevation classification data. The dataset is archived in .kmz, .shp and .tif data formats, and consists of 63 data files with data size of 87.6 MB (compressed to 5 files with 28.5 MB).
