Abstract:

0.05° Grid Dataset of Extreme Climate Index in Inner Mongolia (1982 to 2020) was calculated from the daily maximum and minimum temperature and daily precipitation at 115 meteorological stations in Inner Mongolia from 1982 to 2020. The spatial resolution of the dataset is 0.05° x 0.05°. The dataset includes nine extreme temperature indices and six extreme precipitation indices: TNn (Min Tmin), TXn (Min Tmax), TNx (Max Tmin), TXx (Max Tmax), Tx90p (warm days), Tn90p (warm nights), Tx10p (cold days), Tn10p (cold nights), GSL (growing season length), Rx1day (Maximum one-day precipitation), Rx5day (Maximum five-day precipitation), R10 (Number of heavy precipitation days), R20 (number of very heavy precipitation days), CDD (Consecutive dry days) and CWD (Consecutive wet days). The dataset is archived in .tif format and consists of 585 data files with data size of 235 MB (Compressed into one file with 40.8 MB). The analysis paper based on the dataset has been published in Acta Ecologica Sinica, Vol. 43, No. 1, 2023.
