Abstract:

The national key protected cultural relic units are the highest level of protection approved by China for immovable cultural relics, which have extremely high historical, artistic, and scientific value. The spatial distribution dataset of 5058 national key protected cultural relic units in eight batches of China was developed based on the list of 5058 national key protected cultural relic units issued by the State Council in eight batches from 1961 to 2019, integrated with Baidu Maps. The dataset includes the following information on the cultural relic unit: name, classification number, type, period, batch, and address, etc. The dataset is archived in .shp and .xls data formats, and consists of 8 data files with data size of 25.8 MB (Compressed into one file with 839 KB).
