Abstract：
The Yiwu Oasis is located in Yiwu of Hami, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China. The geolocation of the Oasis is between 43°02′53″N and 43°51′31″N, 94°05′46″E and 95°20′56″E. The Yiwu Oasis consists of 13 oases with a total area of 499.00 km² (Albers projection), total perimeter of 481.13 km (Lambert projection). And the largest oasis covers an area of 283.11 km² and a perimeter of 183.93 km. The main rivers are Aletunkunduo River, Yiwu River and Tuergan River. Their main stream lengths are 76.44 km, 49.97 km and 35.47km, separately. The mountainous part of the Yiwu rivers’ catchment is between 42°58′35″N and 43°39′58″N, 93°46′05″E and 94°53′50″E. Its area is 3203.69 km², 6.4 times of the Yiwu Oasis. The elevation of the catchment is classified into 9 types. This dataset was developed based on Google Earth images in 2020 (in meters), ASTER GDEM 30 m data, and in situ data. The dataset includes: (1) boundary data of the Yiwu Oasis; (2) Yiwu river system and lakes; (3) boundary data of the mountainous part of the Yiwu rivers’ catchment; (4) elevation classification data in the catchment. The dataset is archived in .kmz, .shp and .tif data formats, and consists of 62 data files with data size of 7.88 MB (Compressed to 5 files with 5.31 MB).
