Abstract:

Based on Shanghai Xuhui meteorological station observation data from 1960 to 2013 (including the daily maximum temperature and minimum temperature and relative humidity data) from Chinese Ground Climate Dataset provided by China Meteorological Data Sharing Service System and Shanghai summer daily minimum temperature and daily maximum temperature data from 2004 to 2014 from the Shanghai Municipal Meteorological Bureau, analysis of the variation characteristics of extreme high temperature weather in Shanghai was done and the dataset was made. The dataset include eight tables: (1) meteorological parameters data related to high air temperature in Shanghai from 1960 to 2013; (2) the character of high temperature analysis in Shanghai; (3) maximum air temperature data of each districts of Shanghai; (4) high temperature days of each districts in Shanghai; (5) the number of warming nights of each districts in Shanghai; (6) frequency of heat wave of each districts in Shanghai; (7) heat wave days of each districts in Shanghai; (8) heat wave intensity of each districts in Shanghai. The dataset is archived in Excel with the data size of 27.4 KB. The analysis result of the dataset has published at the Journal of Meteorology and Environment, Vol.32, No. 1, 2016.
