Abstract：

The Napahai wetland is on the Ramsar Wetlands of International Importance (No.1440). Based on the Landsat TM/ETM data (1990-2011), GNSS（Global Navigation Satellites System）RTK（Real Time Kinematic）data (2011), and the mNDWI model, the time series data of water distribution and statistics of the water area of the Napahai wetland from 1999-2011 were developed. By integrating with the daily records of the precipitation and the water storage model, statistics data of the water storage changes was calculated. The water area and storage dataset of the Napahai Wetland (1990-2011) is consisted of two groups of the data files. The group one includes （1）in situ data of water boundary on December 12, 2011; （2）time series data of water distribution from 1990-2011. The second group of data files includes: （1）water area and optimal accumulated daily precipitation of the Napahai wetland from May 1990 to August 2011; (2) monthly average water storage data from 1988 to 2011; and （3）average water storage and precipitation statistics data. The dataset is archived in .mdb, .gdb and .xlsx data formats with the compressed data size of 792KB. The analysis paper was published at the Journal of Natural Resources, No. 2, Vol.30, 2015.
