Abstract:

Time series of soil erosion dataset in water erosion area of China in five-year increments (2000-2015) was developed using the USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) model, integrated with calibrated rainfall erosion factor (R factor) based on climate zones and the cover-management factor (C factor) based on land cover types and agricultural crops. The dataset includes soil erosion value (t hm-2 a-1) of China in 1 km grid in 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2015, and R and C factors data. The dataset is archived in .tif data format, and consists of 12 data files with data size of 1.91 GB (compressed to one single file with 95.9 MB). The analysis paper was published at Acta Ecologica Sinica, Vol.40, No.10, 2020.Browse
