Abstract：
The South Ari Atoll, also called the Alifu Dhaalu Atoll, is located from 3。28′9″N - 3。53′26″N， 72。42′27″E - 72。58′23″E, the Midwest part of the Maldives, its neighbor in north is the North Ari Atoll, the North Nilandhu Atoll in south . 65 islands are included in the South Ari Atoll, including: Ariyadhoo, Kudadhoo, Dhidhdhoo, Dhigurah, Huruelhi, Hukurudhoo, Kudarah, Vakarufalhi, Machchafushi, Dhehasanulunoihuraa, Maafushivaru, Dhangethi, Rangali, Villinglivaru, Rangalifinolhu, Mirihi, Vilamendhoo, Angaagaa, Huvahendhoo, Hurasdhoo, Theluveligaa, Mandhoo, Bulhaaholhi, Rahddhiggaa, Mahibadhoo, Kunburudhoo, Thundufushi, Omadhoo, Innafushi, Enboodhoo, Heenfaru, Hanggnaameedhoo, Bodukaashihuraa, Moofushi, Athurugau, Alikoirah, Diggaru, Kalhuvandhihuraa, Diffushi, Maamigili, Sun Island, Fenfushi and Villingili Islands. The biggest island in the South Ari Atoll is the Maamigili Island with the area of 1.84km2. The total area of the islands in the South Ari Atoll is 6.79km2，the total coastlines of the islands is88.79km long. The dataset was developed based on integration among the Google Earth images and related maps and records. The data is archived in .kmz and .shp data format with the compressed data size of 247KB.
