Abstract：
Dongjiang Lake Basin is located at the junction of Hunan, Guangdong and Jiangxi provinces and to the south of Zixing, Hunan. The geo-location of the lake basin is 113°13′26″E in the west, 114°3′00″E in the east, and 25°20′51″N in the south, 26°10′30″N in the north. It is a medium-low mountainous area and the highest mountain is 1691m above sea level and the lowest is 180 m. The total area of the Basin is 4851.04 km², and the boundary is 435.62 km long. The Dongjiang Lake Basin covers part of Zixing City, Rucheng County, Guidong County, Yizhang County, with area percentage of the whole basin 37.33%、34.26%、25.85%、2.57% respectively. The boundary data of the Dongjiang Lake Basin was developed based on the ASTER-DEM with the statistic models in ArcSWAT and validated by the Google Earth images. The data is archived in both .kmz and .shp data formats with the compressed data size of 2.17 MB.
