Abstract：
Based on the relevant statistics data from China City Statistical Yearbook, National Population Statistics in Counties and Cities, Regional Economic Statistical Yearbook, and Statistical Yearbooks in Provinces, and Environmental Statistics Bulletins, the authors utilized the weighted sum and SDM model to calculate China's urban industrial pollution index and related factors during 2005-2015. The dataset covers 285 prefecture-level cities in China (no data from Tibet, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan). The result shows that China's UIP index was declining in fluctuations during 2005-2015. The dataset includes: (1) Urban industrial pollution index and related indicator data in China; (2) the urban industrial pollution index in northeast, eastern, central and western China during 2005-2015; (3) The urban agglomerations industrial pollution index of China during 2005-2015; (4) the influencing factors data of urban industrial pollution index, including: urbanization rate, population density, per capita industrial production, proportion of secondary industry in GDP, foreign investment level, proportion of science and technology expenditure, energy intensity and environmental control intensity. The dataset is archived in one data file in .xlsx data format with data size of 614 KB. The analysis paper base on this dataset was published at Geographical Research, Vol.38, No. 8, 2019.
