Abstract：
The South Georgia Group is part of the South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands. It is located in the southern Atlantic Ocean, east-southeast of Falkland Islands. It belongs to the British Overseas Territory and its geo-location is 53°32′47″S-54°55′33″S, 42°1′17″W-35°46′13″W. There are 425 islands, rocks and shoals in the South Georgia Group, and the main islands include: South Georgia Island, Annenkov Island, Bird Island, Cooper Island, Grass Island, and some small archipelagos, such as Willis Islands, Welcome Islands, and Pickersgill Islands. While the main islands in Willis Islands are the Main Island, Vaughan Island, and Acorn Rock. South Georgia Island is the largest island in the South Georgia Group, with the area of 3,483.49 km² and the shoreline of 1,487.98 km. The total area of the South Georgia Group is 3,522.11 km² and the coastline is 1,813.58 km. The dataset was developed based on the Google Earth and related maps and references. The dataset is consisted of 17 data files and archived in the .kmz and .shp data formats with the data size of 13.8 MB (Compressed to 5.56 MB in two files).
