Abstract:

Guernsey Island is a British Royal possession, located at the English Channel. It is the second largest island in the Channel Islands. It is 29.47 km separated from the Alderney Island, and 27.32 km separated from the Jersey Island. The geo-location of the Guernsey Island is between 49°24′59″N and 49°30′35″N, 2°40′32″W and 2°30′04″W. The area of the Guernsey Island is 65.59 km² based on the Albers projection, and the coastline is 101.21 km long based on the Lambert projection. St. Peter Port, located at the eastern coast of the island, is the main city. The dataset includes the boundary data and the main settlement data. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 26 data files with data size of 809 KB (compressed to three data files with 346 KB).
