Abstract：
Schare Islands, a group of small islands in the Arctic Ocean, is located between the Barents Sea and the Greenland Sea; it is part of the Thousand Islands in Norway. Its geolocation is between 76°58′30″N and 77°01′45″N，22°01′14″E and 22°16′07″E. The Schare Islands consists of four big islands and nine small islets (Area of the smallest islet is 2,617m²). Four big islands are Whale Bone Island, Havmerra Island, Slette Island and Block Island, among which the Whale Bone Island is the biggest with an area of 0.28km². The total area of the Schare Islands is 0.82km² the coastline is 12.94km long. The dataset is developed based on the Google Earth images and the referenced maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data format with the compressed data size of 59.6KB.
