Abstract:

Industrial Cultural Heritage, as a crucial carrier of historical memory and technological value, relies on standardized spatial and attribute data for systematic preservation. The spatial distribution dataset of Industrial Cultural Heritage in electric power industry of central enterprises in China was developed based on the list of industrial cultural heritage sites in the power industry of central enterprises published in 2023, integrated with data from multiple sources. Geographic coordinates were obtained using the SFMAP technology address big data service platform, supplemented with attribute information such as heritage addresses, construction periods, and historical functions from network resources released by official media. The resulting dataset includes heritage names, superintend, administrative divisions, geographic coordinates, and construction periods, etc. The dataset include: (1) the Industrial Cultural Heritage of centralized enterprises in the electric power industry and their spatial distribution; (2) statistics on the number of Industrial Cultural Heritage in the electric power industry by different superintend, province, the year of construction. The dataset is archived in .shp and .xls formats, and consists of 7 data files with data size of 191 KB (compressed into one file with 33.0 KB).
