Abstract:

In order to predict future urban land use in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region (JJJ), a BUDEM-JJJ model was established to analysis the urban expansion from 2000-2049 in this region. Based on the Landsat TM data 2000, 2005 and 2010, the urban land use data were developed. Integrating the time series of land use data and the BUDEM-JJJ model, the simulating results of the urban expansion in 2049 were developed by different conditions. The dataset is consisted of: (1) GIS data of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region; (2) urban land use in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei Province in 2000, 2005, 2010; (3) protected area; (4) urban expansion in 2049 based on the normal conditions; (5) urban expansion in 2049 based on fast speed development; (6) urban expansion in 2049 based on low speed development; (7) urban expansion in 2049 based on intensive high way condition; (8) urban expansion in 2049 based on the small cities and towns driven; (9) urban expansion in 2049 under the condition driven by the road system; (10) comparison among the results based on the 6 conditions; and (11) Mono Loop model validation data. The dataset is archived at .shp、.xlsx formats with the compressed data size of 21.5MB. The research paper was published at the Journal of Progress of Geography, No. 2, Vol.34, 2015.
