Abstract：
The Hunga Tonga–Hunga Ha'apai Island is located 68 km northwest of Nuku'alofa, the capital of Tonga, and in the western of South Pacific Ocean. The center of the island lies 20°32′38″S, 175°23′37″W based on data in 2016, when it is an union island. The island is affected by volcanic activities, sometimes appearing as separated two islands (2009, 2013, 2022), one is Hunga Tonga Island in the east; the other one is Hunga Ha'apai Island in the west; and sometimes as one (2016, 2021). During 2009-2022, the minimum area of the island was 0.25 km², which occurred on January 17, 2022. The maximum area of the island is 3.06 km², which occurred on May 19, 2016 based on Google Earth and World View images. The dataset includes the boundary data of the island on June 15, 2009, November 15, 2013, May 19, 2016, April 10, 2021 and January 17, 2022. The dataset is archived in .mdb and .kmz data formats, it consists of six data files with data sieze of 1.17 MB.
