Abstract:
Saudi Arabian Oasis is located in Arabian Peninsula, southwestern of the Asia, bordering the Indian Ocean, between 16°22′25″N and 31°31′27″N, 35°58′59″E and 55°31′46″E. The total area of the Saudi Arabian Oasis is 78,730.10 km² (Albers). It is composed of 264 individual oases, including Buraidah Oasis, Al-Ahsa Oasis and Riyadh Oasis, etc. Among them, the Buraidah Oasis is the largest one with an area of 18,100.64 km². The dataset was developed based on Google Earth 2020 imagery and related maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 17 data files with data size of 879 MB (compressed into 2 files with 333 MB).
