Abstract：

The Wheat-Maize Double Cropping Field in Yellow River Irrigation Fangsi Town Case was listed on the Geographical Indications Environment & Sustainability (GIES Case No.9), which is part of Innovation China program. By open science technology, the video shows the ecosystem and the socio-economic development of the wheat-maize double cropping in Fangsi Town, Yucheng City, Shandong Province of China. Yucheng City is located in the alluvial plain of Yellow River in the northwestern of Shandong Province with a long history in agriculture and is the place where legendary Da Yu tamed the floods. The Fangsi Town is located at 37°N, which is moist but not wet in summer and dry but not parch in winter. The unique natural conditions and advanced cultivation make the area an ideal place for quality special wheat and high starch maize. The Jimai 44 and Shiluan 02-1 are the optional species of wheat, and the maize is the Denghai 605, both of them had the advantages of high quality, disease resistance, and high yield in the case region. The observation station for the wheat-maize habitat has been established, which can collect the data including landscape, meteorology, air, soil, and water quality, pests, and diseases in the case area. The wheat and maize products from the case area can be retrieved by QR Code, as well as DOI registration identifier. The video is archived in .mp4 format, it takes 4:41 minutes.
