Abstract:
Mongolian Oasis is located in western Mongolia, in the northeastern part of Asia, formed by lakes. It is between 44°50′26″N and 50°45′40″N, 90°08′09″E and 101°37′22″E, with an area of 19,937.56 km² (Albers). It is composed of 23 individual oases, including Uvs Lake Oasis, Khar-Us Lake Oasis and Airag Lake Oaisis, etc. Among them, the Uvs Lake Oasis is the largest one with an area of 6,851.72 km². The dataset was developed based on Google Earth 2020 imagery and related maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 17 data files with data size of 80.9 MB (Compressed into 2 files with 32.5 MB).
