Abstract:

The Evapotranspiration dataset was developed based on the HJ satellite data, including CCD and IRS data and the single channel algorithm and SEBAL model, the land surface temperature (LST) and evapotranspiration (ET) data from April to September were calculated. The ground simultaneously observed data were used to verify the accuracy of the estimation, and the coefficients of determination were all more than 0.8. The dataset is consisted of five data files covering the Karamay region from April to September in 2012, they are: (1) TVETI Index (2) Normalized Difference Vegetation Index; (3) Evapotranspiration data; (4) Emissivity data; (5) Sun azimuth angle data; (6) Pixel Latitude. The data files are archived in .tif and .xls data formats. The total data size is 7.5 MB. The analysis paper based on the dataset has been published at the journal on Arid Land Geography, No. 5, Vol. 38, 2015.
