Abstract:

Kazakhstani Oasis is located in Central Asia, formed by rivers and lakes. It is between 40°56′11″N and 47°25′16″N, 60°48′12″E and 82°22′22″E, and the total area is 152,213.99 km² (Albers). It is composed of 24 individual oases, including Syr Darya River Oasis, Balkhash Lake Oasis and Chu River Oasis, etc. Among them, the largest oasis covers an area of 51,557.97 km². The dataset was developed based on Google Earth 2020 imagery and related maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 17 data files with data size of 727 MB (Compressed into 2 files with 285 MB).
