Abstract:

Grid Dataset of High Temperature Days (HDs) and Types in China (1983-2017) was developed based on the temperature data from 2374 meteorological stations in China from June to September from 1983 to 2017 and mid-summer data from 750 stations in southern China. Clustering analysis was used to classify the midsummer high temperature types in southern China. The dataset is consisted of 6 data files:(1) annual HDs grid data ,(2) annual average HDs , (3) annual average HDs trend, (4) high temperature classification types in Southern China, (5) inter-annual variation of HDs in Southern China,(6) inter-annual variation of HD types. The dataset is archived in .nc and .txt formats with data size of 2.43 MB (Compressed into one single file with 509 KB). The analysis paper based on this dataset was published at Acta Meteorological Sinica, Vol. 78, No. 6, 2020.
