Abstract:
Southwestern American Oasis is primarily distributed across the arid regions of the southwestern United States, formed by unique hydrological conditions that sustain ecological and human activities, between 29°21′18″N and 47°28′12″N, 102°58′38″W and 122°24′35″W. The total area is 183,177.03 km² (Albers). It is composed of 512 individual oases, including the California Oasis, Bear River Oasis and Columbia River Oasis, etc. Among them, the California Oasis is the largest one with an area of 43,287.95 km². The dataset was developed based on Google Earth 2020 imagery and related maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 17 data files with data size of 1.04 GB (Compressed into 2 files with 400 MB).
