Based on the Landsat and Google Earth images, area of the Lake Nakuru was 40.58 km2 in 1976, and then keep the areas between 40-30 km2 before 2010 ( 37.13km2 in 1986, 40.34 km in 2000, 32.04km2 in 2007 and 31.64 km2 in 2010). The water of the Lake Nakuru was increased dramatically since 2013.
