Abstract:
The Kyrgyzstani Oasis is situated in Central Asia, between 39°27′49″N and 43°14′18″N, 69°17′14″E and 78°55′42″E, formed primarily through glacial meltwater from the Tian Shan Mountains. The total area is 26,414.91 km² (Albers). It is composed of 58 individual oases, including the Ysyk-Kol Lake Oasis, Chuy River Oasis, Taraz Oasis and Kochkor Oasis, etc. Among them, the Ysyk-Kol Lake Oasis is the largest one with an area of 9,910.47 km². The dataset was developed based on Google Earth 2020 imagery and related maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 17 data files with data size of 249 MB (Compressed into 2 files with 99.1 MB).
