Abstract:

In order to understand the interaction between soil animals and microorganisms, the authors used microcosmic control experiments. The study area was taken in the subalpine forest, west Sichuan Province of China. Soil samples were collected in late October 2015, and 40 tissue culture bottles were randomly selected as the naphthalene treatment group (8 sampling times 5 repeats). The amount of naphthalene was 100g/m², which was added once a month. The remaining 40 tissue culture bottles were used as the control group without the use of naphthalene. Soil samples were collected at 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, 38, 45 and 52 days after culture, and 5 bottles were collected and treated each time. Through laboratory chemical analysis, the dataset of soil microorganism quantity, abundance and phospholipid fatty acid in subalpine forest soil of western Sichuan was developed. This dataset includes: (1) geolocation data of the sample sites; (2) soil microbial biomass, microbial abundance and microbial phospholipid fatty acids data during the 52 days by naphthalene in the subalpine forest; (3) repeated measures ANOVA for soil microbial biomass, microbial abundance and microbial phospholipid fatty acids to naphthalene treatment and sampling time. The dataset was archived in .shp, .kmz and .xlsx data formats in 8 data files with data size of 19.9 KB (Compressed to 2 files with data size of 17.0 KB). The analysis paper based on the dataset was published in the journal of Acta Ecologica Sinica, Vol.37, No. 23, 2017.
