Abstract：
Dongjiang Lake is located at the junction of Hunan, Guangdong and Jiangxi provinces，the southern of Zixing, Hunan. It lies south of the Luoxiao Mountains, at the western of Bamian Mountain and the northern of Nanling Mountain. The geo-location of the lake is 113°17′52″E in the west, 113°41′48″E in the east, and 25°35′46″N in the south, 26°00′10″N in the north. It is surrounded by the Rugui Mountains consisted by a series of mountainous and hills. There are 44 islands in the Dongjiang Lake. The total area of the lake is 145.70 km². The water of the Dongjiang Lake comes from Dongjiang and Yongle Rivers mainly, and it is the water source of the Leishui River. The boundary data of the Dongjiang Lake was developed based on Google Earth images 2014. The data is composed of boundary line and area polygon, which is archived in both .kmz and .shp data formats with the data size of 27.0 MB (compressed 8.66 MB).
