Abstract：
The Changshan Archipelago is located in the northern of Huanghai Sea, east of Liaodong Peninsula, Dalian City of Liaoning Province of China. It is consisted of three archipelagos, including the Shicheng Archipelago, Lichangshan Arhcipelago and Waichangshan Archipelago. The northern part (Shicheng Archipelago) of Changshan Archipelago is 3.2 km away from the mainland, and the middle part (Lichangshan Archipelago) is 11.71 km away from the Liaodong Peninsula at its west. The geo-location of Changshan Archipelago is 39°0′31″N-39°34′5″N, 122°17′41″E-123°13′21″E. There are 179 islands and isles in the Changshan Archipelago, among them, Lichangshan Archipelago is the largest, which has an area of 88.37 km2, the coastline of 275.67 km, and 126 islands; while Shicheng Archipelago has an area of 38.65 km2, coastline of 88.35 km, and 35 islands; and Waichangshan Archipelago has an area of 34.15 km2, coastline of 107.92 km, and 18 islands. The total area of Changshan Archipelago is 161.17 km2 and the coastline is 471.93 km. The dataset was developed based on the Google Earth and related maps and references. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 15 data files with data size of 2.02 MB (compressed to 827 KB in two files).
