Abstract：

Emperor penguins are regarded as "biological indicators" of Antarctic climate change, and the precise locations of their colonies are the basis for analyzing the impact of climate change on emperor penguins. Pan-Antarctic emperor penguin colony dataset (2000, 2014, 2018) was developed based on landsat-7 ETM and Landsat-8 OLI in 2000, 2014 and 2018, and combined with high resolution emperor penguin colony recognition results. The dataset includes the following data in 2000, 2014 and 2018: (1) the geo-location of emperor penguin colony, including table data and vector data (including points and polygons); (2) the list of Landsat images to identify the emperor penguin colony. The dataset is archived in .xlsx and .shp data formats, consists of 44 data files with data size of 342 KB (compressed to one single file with 142 KB).Browse
