Abstract:

In order to find the relationship between the groundwater and the rivers change in Baiyangdian lake basin, the authors collected 36 samples in this area in June 2009. Although there were samples at northern and southern parts of the region, more samples were collected in the center part, where there were more socio-economic activities. The water indexes and elements of these samples were analyzed at the Key Laboratory of Groundwater Science and Engineering, Ministry of Land Resources of China. The Groundwater Dataset in the Baiyangdian Lake Basin (GroundwaterDataBaiyangdian2009) consisted of 5 parts, they are: (1) boundary data of the Baiyangdian lake basin (Watershed_BYD); (2) rivers and lakes in the Baiyangdian lake basin (River_Lake_BYD); (3) contours of groundwater in low region of Baiyangdian lake basin (ContourWaterLevel_BYD); (4) 36 sample data (SamplingData) and (5) statistics of Tritium content in rainfall from 1954 -2007. The data are archived in .shp and .xlsx formats. The compressed data size is 318MB. The analysis paper of these data has been published in Progress in Geography, No. 3, Vol. 34, 2015.Browse
