Abstract：
Gudui site is a human-land adaptation carrier accumulated by ancestors in the struggle against flood season, Yellow River diversion, and other disasters to increase the residential surface to avoid flood invasion. It witnessed the human response to climate change and the historical process of civilization changes in the lower reaches of the Yellow River. The Gudui sites were identified based on the Atlas of Chinese Cultural Relics Shandong Volume, Shandong public data open network, and China National Geographical Name Information Database, integrated with Google Earth maps, POI interest point data, site height identification, related archaeological report consultation, and other methods. The dataset includes the spatial distribution data of Gudui sites in Heze, Jining, Liaocheng, and Dezhou in eight cultural and historical periods (including Beixin culture, Dawenkou culture, Longshan culture, Yueshi culture, Shang Dynasty, Zhou Dynasty, Qin Dynasty, and Han Dynasty), as well as attribute data including site name and site age. The dataset is archived in. xlsx and. shp formats, and consists of seven data files with data size of 765 KB (compressed to one file, 50.4 KB).
