Abstract：
Faroe Islands, the volcano archipelago and the autonomous country within the Kingdom of Denmark, is located in the northern Atlantic Ocean between Ice Land, Norway, Scotland and Shetland Islands, its geolocation is between 7°41′30″W and 6°15′31″W, 61°20′11″N and 62°23′40″N. The Faroe Islands consist of 119 islands, isles and skerries in total (the smallest one is 186m²), including 18 islands, they are: Streymoy Island, Eysturoy Island, Vagar Island, Sueuroy Island, Sandoy Island, Boreoy Island, Vieoy Island, Kunoy Island, Kalsoy Island, Svinoy Island, Fugloy Island, Nolsoy Island, Mykines Island, Skuvoy Island, Hestur Island, Stora Dimun Island, Koltur Island, Litla Dimun Island. The total area of the Faroe Islands is 1,402.58km², the coastline of the Islands is 1,077.74km. The biggest island of the Faroe Islands is the Streymoy Island with the area of 376.49km². The dataset is developed based on the Google Earth images and the referenced maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data format with the compressed data size of 2.98MB.
